hmm, hard to put in one specific genre. I think the tune has elements from both house and trance.

It lacks a bit in the bassregion. The kick is good, but the bassline sometimes goes a bit too high. Overall I'd like a deeper bass in this track. In pattern 1A the bass sometimes has a nice deep vibe, but then it goes back up to those high notes again.

The break btw. a bit of a weird shift from one theme to another, but I like what comes after the break. I guess it's just me, but I have a thing for these spacey pads and distant sounds. They give a great atmosphere. The panning in this section is a bit off however. The tune sounds right shifted although sounds play in both channels. You've placed the strings in the right channel, and the short synth sounds in the left. I think it's this that greates the unbalanced feeling. The strings have more energy, and thus the sound feels right shifted. I'd place the strings in the center, or better yet give them a wider stereo image by placing them in both channels, lows slightly to the left and highs to the right for instance, and a bit more reverb into the mix to really give them that spacey feeling.

So, I like what comes before the break, and I especially like what comes after the break. However, I'm not so sure the different themes work in the same tune. They should perhaps have been separate tunes. The first part has more of a house feel, beaches and sun, while the other is more space, long distances, ambient trance. The name of the track does implie this to some extent also, so I guess in that sence the tune works. But well, main issues still are the panning in the break and after that. The instruments are too far appart, they don't sound as if they belong togheter.

The song is full of various points and segments which sound great. For instance, at the jump from pattern 1E to 1F, I really like the way the volume increases a bit to signal a shift, very powerfull :)
