Sounds like: 90's In Flames alike powermetal with minor gothic influences.

Good:
An rhapsody-alike mixture of different ideas. Some are good, some are less impressive and tend to sound too flat. Added instruments (solo guitar, piano, choirs, strings) are used more frequently later in the song, which really generates an impressive piece of metalmusic. Because of that, the real beauty of this song is found on the ending part.

Points of attention:
-The first 1.30 minutes deliver a wall of sound, but lack real depth and power. The rhythm guitar doesn't have strenght enough and sounds too synthetic to be functional on its own. Especially with tracked music, a guitar on its own will almost always lack the natural sound to have enough impact. The second part of the song prooves that something very nice can be done if additional instruments are added.
-For this amount of ideas, concepts and melodies, more time could have been used to make transitions somewhat smoother. The entire song sounds very rushed, which devaluated the individual parts.
-Since making metal on a computer generates a completely different environment then when making it in the studio, one should also make advantage of the computer-specific possibilities. A bit more electronic techstuff (fx, unusual synths, even some drum tweaking) would make the entire song more dynamic and original.
-XnmE's vocals are nicely blended into the song, but can be mastered more properly. Some good compressing and enhancing would probably spice up the impact of the vocals.

uuhm, death metal? would that be the genre of this tune? not sure, and as I'm not too familiar with this genre, I won't go into details that much in this review.

The tune has a good energy. But as far as I can tell, it follows pretty standard paths as far as structure goes. The drumprogramming is hectic, but it works. Especially like the tomtom fills.

I like the piano riff. It gives a good contrast to the otherwise disted sound. The guitar however, I can't help but feel that this one has a bit too much space in the mix, could perhaps be slightly lower in volume.

Sample quality is variating, but in a tune like this I'm not sure that's any problem. At least I can't hear anything that would clearly be of low quality when listening to the tune.

Overall, well what can I say. I'm not a fan of this kind of music, but it had a good energy imo. Fans will probably enjoy this one very much.
