In Trance is probably a trance track.
But I don't realy get into trance by this track.
It contains the usual synth, and again the Boom Ching Boom Cing me and my 909 beat...
people try harder at making a beat, it realy isn't THAT hard ;)
You try using Drum loops to fill you track up a abit.
Also you need to tune your samples, because there out of tune right now.
If you practice enough you can make some real track, you melody is ok so keep on trying!

Probably the worst song in this compo, although I can hardly call it a song. The song is build on a instrument, not on a melody, because at random all kinds of melodies pop up, which all sound terrible. The lead sawsynth is detuned, something my ears didn't appreciate. This house track got beats that are far too basic, a pizzicato which comes up out of the blue and isn't in touch with the rest of the song and it all sounds like something you make after 2 months experience with tracking.
To the artist; your probably new to the music-making scene, so don't let this harsh comment bother you. Everyone starts of with making the most embarresing things if you would hear them later in your musical life. Focus on a theme or a melody, and build a song around it. Work on your beats. Choose your instruments so that they fit eachother. Give your song an identity through fx, speech or through overall atmosphere. Listen to other songs and try to replicate them; it's the most educational way of learning how to make music. |
