| No more Sleep by Remco Bressers is a groovy club tune. This is a real advanced tracker, because his techniques are great, and the samples are also good, but the drums could have had a bit more, maby some percusion with. The vocal sample is nice on Head Phones! And the pan flute gives me an nostalgic feeling, realy good. However, next to the use of the filter automation, and some delay's nothing more of the madtracker arsenal is used. Maby some nice reverb over your melody's and strings would widen the whole track. | Put on your dancing shoes and come along on this nice, funky little trance track. No More Sleep shows a good overall sound, a fine lead melody, nice variations and quality instruments. This, in combination with a good mix, structure and the programmed pannings make this song a good one. Negative about this song is the bassline (some 303ish sound), which isn't 'flexible' enough to serve this song her swinging character. At 1.50 the resonance also got too much for my precious ears; this sounds too aggresive, especially in this song. | |||||||||||
