A nice trance anthem which lacks originality but compensetes this with the technique and overall sound. There's a real cool acid-303-line with massive sounding reverb and a very user-friendly Tiesto leadsynth, which brings the listener to a very nice melody. Problem is the piano which enters the song; the piano itself is too clear and to high pitched to fit in the song. Besides that is *any* piano in a trance song a mistake; their are better alternatives for this cliche-instrument. The beats are also in the positive line of the song, and the overall mix & theme are good.
To the artist; this song could stand far above the grey crowd if this piano wasn't here, but if you could find / generate an original instrument with an own face and characteristics. There's potential here, but the piano makes this song loose a full point. |
