Ah, I welcome myself again to the 'who doesn't wants to be aphex twin or any other electronic experimental hero' contest, and Slaw shall not be the conquerer.
This hybrid of sampling madness (opera, noise, vocals) and instruments sounds too forced and too unnatural. Whereas people like DJ shadow find the exact samples which fit eachother to make it all sound natural (I didn't know for half a year that everything in organ donor is sampled!), Jean-Charles Vidal has the right intention but the wrong production. The seperate parts really sound nice and all have some potential in itself, but the total picture is synthetic, unnatural and lacking much coherence.
This song also needs better programming, because the samples aren't very fluid either; they just start and stop, without any audible fading or other ways of melting sounds together.
