Deep chill? ...you got that right!
Cool bongo-drums and percussions. Lots of energy, but no melody. Really bad variation. You get pretty tired listening to this one and it seems like something is missing. But Walter has been pretty creative and I'm sure this one would fit in great at a party or something, when everyone is loaded :) This is a remix which is a minus...

DJ Carlos Papaya has made a nice deep house / garage remix of the original. The beats are certainly nice & supportive for the song, but after 3.40 the leadsynth starts with the melody, and this leadsynth certainly isn't supportive. It's a really fast sounding synth, while the rest of the song is all laidback. It's a pity that the main tune isn't worked out good in this way, or else this track would get higher marks. The song has atmosphere and a kind of thrill because the main melody only pops up once in the whole track. Overall this is a minimalistic, grooving deephouse remix with a nice feeling.
To the artist; you complain about ripping all samples, but atleast you ripped with a good taste. Use simsynth or reason for sample production. The thrill in the song could be made bigger by letting the leadsynth come back, without using the melody. Alter the envelope of the leadsynth, so it lasts longer and isn't as aggresive as it is now.
