When defining this trance song I came up with the words Darude and Robert Miles. The song is probably a hybrid between them, and proves that not all hybrids are okay. The lead instruments are a piano & the famous darude sound, which shows a great lack of originality or courage to do something else. The melody itself isn't as catchy as darude or robert miles managed to make, and the song is too slow to give it the power it needs.
The mix needs also some looking after; the piano is too hard & the beats need more accent. A nice thing about the beats are the toms, which sound really nice in this song. Another problem is the length; if you make a song of 5 minutes, then you need some variations in the parts of it. This is performed with the piano, but it doesn't sounds okay. It just all sounds rather dull & unoriginal
To the artist: try making a more compact, faster & more original track of this song. A piano just isn't good enough as a lead synth, and the melody should be better & more interesting. Another thing is your usage of the speeches: if you decide to give your song more identity by using a speech, use a unique one or at least alter the original one that much that it becomes unique.
