The style of this tune is kind of hard to define. It could be gamemusic (sounds a bit like that), it could also be a try at some minimalistic house or something.

In general I'd say this tune is too monotonous. To be honest, it gets boring. It could work as a background to something else, a game maybe, but as a piece of music in itself it doesn't do much.

Mixing wise I'd say the hihats could have been brought out a bit more. They're barely audible now, if one knows they should be there. Otherwise the volume levels of the individual intruments are at a suitable level. The drums could also have used a bit of panning I think, placing them out in the stereofield. The whole tune in general is very centered, which makes it lack in depth a bit.

I'm wondering why Madtrackers potential hasn't been used more. This tune looks a bit like it was converted from Fastracker or something similar, without taking note what great possibilies Madtracker and it's effects has to offer.

It's hard to say which style this song might be; for me, it sounds a bit like a game tune. Nevertheless it's a quite good tune (the samples, though, aren't).

A major problem of this song is that some parts are just too long (especially in the middle) so that it becomes a bit boring over time. Also, the piano sound that is used throughout the whole song sounds very cheap and really takes down the whole quality.

Technically seen it's nothing special since it doesn't use any of the MT2 features. The arrangement has some weak points as mentioned above, but it's still pleasing enough.

Boring... Not so much, but after a short period, everything the same.
Sounds like a big sample.
Only the background chimes and hi-hat deserve a good notation.
So I give 6 for arrangements.

So wrote music of 5 more years back in ScreamTracker and Fasttracker, and Madtracker has the big opportunities! Why you do not use them? As a whole the theme is competently written, but does not impress.

style: like oldschool mod of demos etc., dance, trance, ambient. cool groove at the beginning - later basic techno-trance beat.
Ok,ok sounds good. This author is skilled but i miss a real theme! no reverb or something else is used - what a pity! nice atmosphere! interesting voice insertions. this track really sounds like a demo-tune ( i see 3d-objects moving, morphings, colours etc) changes are needed! perhaps a nice main melody - but he only transposed - but: keep it on!

for demos!
