| Commercial sound all over this one, that's for sure. Unfortunately this also means it doens't sound very original. All the usual elements of commercial trance/dance have been used, drumrolls and buildups and all. Pretty usual instruments also for that matter (except for that christmas bell). Basically, everything about this tune makes one think "I've heard this before". I have a feeling this tune was meant to be a radio-version. Nothing wrong with that, except that my ears say that some parts could use a bit more time to build up. They feel rushed, the intro for instance could have been longer IMO. A bit of a christmas feel was given by the chime sounds in the beginning and the bells further into the song, but otherwise I don't know if I'd associate this one with christmas. That's more of a sidenote though... Production wise this tune is well done. The samples are of good quality, the mixing is good, and the effects are implemented with care. That breakbeat in the middle of the song (@ about 2:20 -->) sounds a bit weird to me, like it wouldn't quite fit with the style of the rest of the tune. I'm wondering a bit what the use of that final basshit (instr 11) at the end of the song was good for? To me it sounds as if someone forgot to stop the recording before the loop began again. | |||||||||||

| Well done in many aspects. The lead is funny, the sample choice goes well with ne Christmas theme, the techno adaptation goes the road. The madtracker's functions are well employed *it was time*, the background is rich, I just wished to ear a real bassline. Ok, even if I'm not at 100% into techno I have to rate this tune very high. | |||||||||||

| again dance techno with basic groove, nice effects - analog synthies! don't expect specials: pure standard! dance or die harder! real christmas trance :-) very good experiments with grooves sometimes, comercial like arrangement. good mood song - why not? its christmas!
