| Again a tune that follows the basic mainstream trance formula. The strings are way too dominant in the soundscape. They basically drown all other sounds. Sure most sounds are audible, but it all feels as if they're working really hard to make themselves heard because the leadstrings dominates so much. Advice number one, lower the volume on those strings, alot! I think the idea was to get a tune with alot of energy and power, but sadly the effort killed the mix totally. The sence of power instead could be achieved by giving the bass range more boost, maybe adding a low powerstring on there, instead of playing the leads on the red all the way. The ending was a bit weird, very abrupt. Considering the beginning, I think a similar ending could have suited the tune better. This one had a bit of that "I've had enough, this shall be it" feeling over it. The panning of the instruments was good, gave the tune some depth. Sample quality was good all the way also, sadly most of them didn't get justice in the mix (see the leadstring issue). Overall, a pretty decent tune which sadly follows the basic trance formula and therefore probably will get forgotten pretty quickly in the jungle of mainstream trance. | |||||||||||

| Strange, I found a texte with the module saying :" Please send me mt2.dat file! :) Please Please Please Professional Registration!". I think Madtracker is cheap enough not to act this way, If we want to have in the near future the V3, Yannick should be rewarded for the work. Simple as that. Anyway, about the module : not bad, not good : average in many ways. A good kind of techno theme, classical drums effect, the sound is a little bit flat, a certain lack of bass. | style: techno, dance,trance. nice, little theme. basic beats, basic techno sounds - like analog synthies, roland drums etc. good solid techno with a REAL theme! could need a bit more variations but the theme is really good - a big advance of this tune!! | |||||||||||
