The title says it all, it's a soundtrack.

I think it can only be fully enjoyed while watching the movie. Without it, it looses a lot of his value.

The volume is very low, but good work!

A soundtrack to a short film. That's certainly something we won't see too often.

From a tracking point of view, this tune is more of a collection of samples played at the right time. Not much tracking in the meaning of entering lots of notes and effects is done, and this could be bad (considering it's a tracking compo). All the loops and melody snippets on the other hand fit so well togheter that I'm beginning to believe they've been done in Madtracker by the author himself, then exported and imported again into the actual tune. A notation about how the samples were done would have been good ;)

I think there might be a bit too much reverb in the tune, it get's muddy occasionally. Especially when the piano plays. If played in a large theater, it probably would loose even more clarity.

As a standalone tune, it doesn't do much. Yes, it portrays an image of something creepy in the rain. One can also pretty clearly hear where changes in the storyline happen. But much more than that it doesn't say. What I want to say with this is, that it only really comes to it's right when played in sync with the actual movie it's a soundtrack for. So a good suggestion to the listener is to download the movie, and try to get it to sync with this tune. Only then I think one can really get something out of this tune.

Anyway, I'd say this is a fine piece of soundtrack, allthough it doesn't portray very much tracking skill, more a skill of arranging loops. But what it's intended to do, it does well.

How can I judge this? Does it deserves the downloading?
So I dl the movie too.
Without the movie, the music cannot stand by itself. With the movie it's the better tune of the compo. But the others have no movie so it would be unfair to judge them the same way.
I've got a problema to rate this. My be a special price of the jury ?
Ok, so I gave this points...

" My musical interpretation of a short 3d dark movie made by Marco Schirmer. "
This musical COMPO, not video and soundtrack or I am mistaken?
There is no melody, one loops.

style: film-music. an author who is really "fishing 4 compliments" :-) - why not? but i dont want 2 download 10 megabytes of a file "only" 2 hear a movie soundtrack! film-music is very hard 2 quote BECAUSE :

movie soundtracks are almost NOTHING WITHOUT the movie! so hard 2 say... but good quality though, but not the right place 2 get "awards" in a tracker compo in my opinion!

nevertheless: keep it up - good work, a lot of talent!
