Nice idea and theme. The least we can say is that it's surprising. Too surprising maybe... since it can ruin your speaker equipment.

Deathmetal some might call this. A friend of mine calls this type of music for doomsday rock.

I should speak a warning at this point. The tune starts of softly, with some bells playing. You'll probably think you're in for some nice chilled downtempo stuff. Then, after about one minute, the disted guitars and the death roars enter, and this stage might kill you're speakers. I guess you could say I'm lucky my amp has a built in protection circuit, otherwise I'd probably have a pair of broken AKG headphones in my hands right now. Even setting the gain in madtracker to one didn't remove all the clipping.
The tune seems to have been made using the "all sliders to the top and then some" technique, the mixing sucks in other words. I'm pretty sure the artist was looking for that scare effect when he added the distguitars after one minute, and I could say that it worked. But not because the tune was scary, but simply because the sudden move from a calm tune to disting speakers caused the brain to send one of the most natural reflexes: "find out where the danger to my hearing is coming from and shut it off".

Fans of death metal and the likes might love this tune, others that know they have built in protection in their speakers etc. might want to give it a try, but anyone who values their non-protected speakers should stay clear of this one.

32 tracks enabled!
This an additive compo with bells that suddenly goes mad.
I Like this. Some of my friends were there when I rated it & I admitt that I've been influenced.
Well done, I just regret the distortion that is a bit loud.
Who said I don't like metal? I? Ok, noone is perfect!

Style: hardcore rock, romantic-heavy metal. wow! nice one! really original - no techno, only accoustic like instruments! again the elec-dist.guitar could be better! (more clean or less distortion)
