Somehow happy, yet sad. A technoish intro, going over to some housish later on. But I miss alot of the little things, like a hihat not playing the same pattern all the time, but getting shifted a bit sometimes. Or a shift in the basskick on other occasions then to mark a significant change in the music.

The tune could use more crisp, more high-end in the frequency range. It sounds very muddy somehow. Something that could help in this part would be to select a hihat with more in the high end.

The melody line is nice, very catchy. It's pretty short, but the author has enough variety in the tune so it doesn't get boring right away at least (one can easily listen through the song 2-3 times without getting bored, 7-10 is another matter =) ).

The drums could use a bit work. They're not very interestingly built up, pretty basic structure on them. Panning would have been nice to use on them also, place them out in the stereofield a bit. This could have helped on the overall muddy sound of the tune also, since it would have given the tune more width, more space for the sounds to work on. In fact the whole tune could have used panning. Everything seems to be dead center, only variation to that being given by the stereo delays used.

Overall, a nice tune with, unfortunately, too many little things missing to give it a very high rating.

Well concerning this track it is difficult to tell something... The Discord is observed so frequently, that the impression of musical illiteracy and absence of the idea of a track is created.
