Don't want to be harsh, but I wonder if it would have scored even in a 4-channel MOD compo.
You really should have read the guidelines carefuly to avoid such reviews.

This song just lacks everything, especially originality.

This tune is close to what we use to do the first times we played with the oldest trackers on Atari. Why only 4 tracks? Everything should sound better with only some effects. I mean "ears candy" like reverb and stereo delays...

There's some inspiration in it, but the tune hesitates between styles techno or vintage pop...
The occupation of space isn't powerfull enough in terms of bass and the beat is binary and may be too simple.

About the thème : too short so it sounds repetive very fast.

The resulting notation isn't more than medium. This tune isn't finished, it could be better with some more work on it. For me this is just a simple conversion from an old module to mt2 format.

This is my advice : I remixed your tune and you can download it at this url http://perso.wanadoo.fr/avalon-games/science-class.zip
I wont do the same with all competitors but this is a modest exemple.

Science class by martin is a game tune, at least it says so according to the instrument titles...

I'm just getting the feeling that this game uses the *.mod filetype, since this mt2 is made up of 4 tracks, no FX's and old looking FX's.

Martin, I think you need to try using madtrackers functions a bit better, you'll be amazed about what it can do, that way you can create your songs with a bit more, ehm, well flair!

But the way I see it now is as an simple convertion...

No idea what to recommend to Martin how to improve. I didn't rate with 0 because I know from the tw2k preselection there are worse tracks...

Martin, if this is your first "released" track, OK, if not ...
