Hello friendly ReWire users,

I am planning to write a tutorial on how to use MadTracker inside the most common ReWire hosts. Since I'm no ReWire 1337 user myself, my knowledge of the different hosts and their behaviour is quite unknown for me. I would therefore kindly like to ask you if you could make a very short description of how to use MadTracker inside your ReWire host.

Simply mention the steps (open the host -> click on this -> click on that -> do this -> do that -> etc), including screenshots of the essential steps. Please mention the exact version of the host you are using, and the possible difficulties or unlogical steps one has to take.

You can send your descriptions to inge@madtracker.org. If you participate, please mention in this thread which ReWire host you will describe, so that no double work is done. I think an average explanation will take five to ten minutes of your time, but it would save new users hours.

Thank you in advance!

@ Tom: Ableton live tutorial = excellent! Thank you!

I'll try to put up Tom's tutorial today or tomorrow to give an idea of how one can do this. More tutorials are ofcourse gladly accepted.

A new ReWire mixer has been added to the tutorial: Sony Acid Pro 5.0. Read all about it at

More ReWire host tutorials are still more than appreciated! I'm especially interested in Cubase SX, Sonar, Tracktion, Logic Audio, and Nuendo.

So ladies and gentleman: get that printscreen-button warmed up, and do your thing!
