The MadTracker Artist Focus places one specific MadTracker user in the centre of attention. For this edition, the Dutch house & elektro composer QBical and I met up somewhere in a pub in The Netherlands for a thorough interview.

After more than five years of working with MadTracker, QBical has very interesting things to say about how to get your work published, how to use MadTracker for live purposes, and how to become a better composer.

Very nice article! I really enjoyed reading it. I have to agree with you about the soundquality QBical. It is what you make and get out of the software.

			 Good and interesting article.

So I'm not the only one here who has gone through / is going through / will go through a movie school.

Good luck with it Ray, I've been through such a school and I therefore know you can meet some weird situations in such schools |

hehe, well I guess I will have to wait four more years for that... I wasn't accepted this year ( 12 students out of 300 are picked ). Luckily I still have time to send my submission to another school, where I will be studing my second choice 'sound design'. ( if I'm accepted there that is )

Gtrz!

By the way, there might be some interesting studies in Hilversum, at the HKU. Like music Technology, audio design (is that the one you ment?). I tried to get into this school (Music Technology) but they didn't accept me because i did not knew enough about music (as in reading notes, they tested my hearing etcetera)! And that after eight years of piano lessons well actually i had a teacher that didn't give too much about solfege (how do you describe it in english) she just wanted me to play some nice songs... |
