 | |
			| hello.

i've been using madtracker 2 for a few years now, but it's just about now when i'm trying to run it on a laptop (compaq presario 4100) i've ran into a few problems.

this doesn't seem to work ok:
 - changing the number of "ticks"
 - the transpose window (checking the box & pitching does not work)
 - typing in a value in the "track effects" boxes (i can change the value with a mouse, but not change it by typing in a new value)
 - can't check the boxes or change the envelopes for volume/panning/filter

i think that's about it, off the top of my head.

i've also tried running mt2 on a dell inspiron 4100 & everything works fine there. dunno if this is a problem related to the soundcard built into the compaq laptops...

yannick, do you have any idea?

 thanks in advance.

			| Are you aware of the ctfmon.exe problem? It sounds like that's what's bothering you... After (or just before) starting madtracker press ctrl+alt+del, go to the processes tab of the task manager look for 'ctfmon.exe', and click end process. This is an XP problem by the way, not laptop related.
