Why not just "Caroline"? There have been many firstname-only scene names before, such as "Alizée", "Lorie", "Jennifer", "Maurane", etc.

what do you call someone who speaks one language?
french.

Unfortunately true... but true for most native english speaking people too...
This comes from the Parisian mentality. For them, the evidence that life exists outside Paris has not yet been proved...
Remember my pronounciation in my vocal tracks ? I was among the best in English at school...
BTW, this "defend the french language" mentality is also responsible for the fact that the french entry at the Eurovision song contest is always sung in french (and therefore understood by no one). This is the main reason why we often get into the flop 3 at this contest (besides the fact that our song usually also sucks a lot!) |
Switzerland : #1 earthquake provider! (Bootyshakin' Willhelm Tell ?!?) |

Because "Caroline" is already registered as a trademark in the music business. |

It is. I could predict almost all the votes even without listening to the songs !
Comment made by our TV commentators (aired on national TV) : Only ears are what's missing to the people who voted... |
