For those who haven't noticed: there's a song called 'Abend' by -pOWL! in the music section. It's gor-ge-ous! Get it!

[disclaimer: that is, if you are fond of intelligent elektronics with a very melodic and atmospheric hook, and excellent compositional and productional qualities. If you like lame, cheap-ass, singleminded and boring hardhouse, then it might not be your cup of tea.]

Inge

Edit: there's also an MP3 (192 kbps) version, because the MT2 is quite cpu hungry:

It took me 2 min to install the plugins. And the CPU is 75-80% for a AMD 2400+.

Ah. I thought it had to do with my variable speed cpu setting (AMD 64 3200+), but it indeed *is* a cpu-intensive song.

I can put an MP3 online this afternoon.

Thanks!

This indeed is a very nice song, with a niceīn calming atmosfeer. Itīs also the first time that I hear the delay-lama in action, cause most of the time itīs considered as a fun-plugin, rather that a serious instrument.

Oh by the way, my lame, cheap-ass, singleminded and boring hardhouse remix of this song will be finished at the end of this week Wink.

Thank's for the mp3, Inge Smile

Now to the music. Don't like the snare(ish) sound. Not enough snap in it. It sounds cheap compared to the rest of the instruments. The atmoshpere is good (I like the pads), but the track is a bit too jumpy to really sooth me. A bit less shuffle might be good. Lama sound is cool and well used. Overall nice, but I doubt I'd play it very often.

Nice track, needs a bt of mastering though... The Snare is to much noise and needs more tone to make it stand out more in the mix.

Nice usage of the lama Smile Just downloaded it again...

For more of this style check out Royksopps new album 'The Understandig' due this month...

I kinda thought the new Royksopp album was a big disappointment. two-three songs was "enjoyable" no more, imo.

totaly agree there...
I had realy high hopes, it still sounds quite good though. If only they could stop singing...

The dub mix of only this moment is wicked though...
