It more means no rip and no remixes. Sampling is tolerated to some extent (i.e. no melody sampling).

As some of you asked for a little more time, I added 2 more weeks. So the deadline is now the 15th of January.

Will you use madtrackers .ogg export to create ogg versions of the enteries? or an external one?
Just wondering, since I have to decrease overall volume, or add some compressors to make the ogg export sound good, compared to normal wav export. |

Every entry will be available as Ogg Vorbis. I'll use the MT export for that purpose.
This will be pretty much needed as quite a few entries require some high-end system in order to play them properly.

As with most things around here, results will be up when results are up Atm. no deadline has been set for the reviews and therefore I can't even give you an estimate as to when the results will actually be up. As far as I'm concerned, I've reviewed about 50% of the tracks now. If you want to draw some conclusions from that as to when the results will be up, feel free to do so. No guarantees though.
Track downloads are completely up to Yannick if he wants to put them up at this point or not. I can think of at least one reason why he wouldn't, and that is to prevent your comments (which will be made inevitably) from influencing us judges.
In general I think it's safe for me to say at this point that there as usual are some real gems amongst the entries. Of course there are those that don't do quite so well also. The overall level of quality this year is a lot higher than in previous years though, so be prepared for a close race |

I can tell you now that it will take one or more months atleast. The judges are planning to wrap up all reviews at the end of this month, although no fixed date is set. After that, some sort of broadcast will be produced in which these results are make public. Yes, that delays it, but it makes it a quite lot more interesting. Therefore, rough estimation: march, april. |

But my story is more enigmatic and cryptic, making the reader go 'oh my oh my what exactly is he trying to tell'?
