As you may have noticed, I haven't been very active lately. Not much has happened.
It is just that my private life required almost all my attention the last months. I had many emotional events affecting me in positive and not so positive ways - and that prevented me to fully concentrate on programming tasks. Unfortunately, I'll keep some "sequels" of these events for an undetermined period. I just now feel like focusing more on social life for the time being.
I don't know when I'll get to program again. I know I'm late already. But I'm not giving up. MT is my baby and will always be!
I hope you all understand.

As much as I would want MT3 I think that 2.6 is a potent composing tool as it is. And the real life is allways the most important. So I just hope that everything works out for you Yannick. |

Of course you must do what you must IRL. That comes first, and I'll always respect that, and I hope everything works out for the best for you!
That being said, this is a terrible day. Talk about starting the week awfully. I can't help being really sad about this. |

Family and friends first.
Job second.
Nothing strange with that! Hope everything will be okay and you'll find more energy for programming in the future!

Well, MT2.6 is just about as ready as a program can be. I don't remember any urgent features that would have to be in the program (other than the infamous undo, which won't happen anyway). From that p.o.v. this is a good time to put development on hold and concentrate on other things.
We, as in the users of MT and dwellers of this forum, will just have to step up and keep the community alive and kicking in the meantime.
I hope the big compo for the year won't die because of this, though? |

No it shouldn't. I actually put some work into the compo system for the last compo that will make my life easier for the next ones.
As you said, community will still be active (hopefuly). Proof is that these last month have been quite active here in the forum and I also noticed activity in the IRC chat. So, you don't really need me on that matter. I'll still be around though.
