Gah! I'm an idiot. I promise, Sunbuster, I'll get it right on the website!!!
At least it's easier to spell than that Szartd guy at CTG, or Szardt, or Tsardt, or Czartd, or however the heck he spells it... |

Sunblaster, based on Yannick's answer, you can use the reverb.

THANKS
Well, to me, the reverb plugin IS a part of the default MT configuration (even in prior versions of the tracker). Just see how many released MT2s use that feature (almost all), you'll see how many people use it (again almost all MT users).
Besides this, I wish to say good luck to all the people who will enter this compo and may the best win.

TNK, I got your entry, so thanks.
Keep in mind, though, the issue isn't how many Mad Tracker artists use the reverb feature. The issue is whether or not downloading and installing the reverb plug-in is an inconvenience for the VOTERS. (My first priority in running CMC is to the voters. Without them, the site doesn't do much good for the artists.) That's why on the CMC website I'll recommend the version of Mad Tracker that includes the Reverb plug-in already set-up and ready to go. I tried it out on my computer yesterday, and it seems stable enough to me, even though Yannick said it's not an "offical" release yet.
I'm having a similar debate regarding VST plug-ins over on the Renoise board. It's kinda funny, actually, watching some Renoisers argue with me and saying that I should *not* allow VSTs. Right now the rule is no VSTs, but as I get a better understanding of how they work, I may relax that slightly. Again, it's all a matter of how it will affect the voters. But if I can find a way to allow even just a few VSTs without inconveniencing the voters, I'd certainly like to. |

Okay, got it, Sunbuster.
So far, it looks like only CMC Mad is going to get enough entries to get rolling in September. CMC Renoise has a lot of interested folks who seem to be tied up with Beatbattle 3, though considering that the entry rules for CMC Renoise are actually LOOSER than Beatbattle 3, I don't understand why that's an issue. Ah well. Looks like CMC Renoise will start in October, though anything can still happen.
As for CMC Skale... ugh. Still nothing. Not. A. Thing. |

Hmm, I guess it's a bit late for me to enter this months competition, but I'll download and vote for sure. There is always a next month to submit a track, right? |

Yes. Very good. There's *always* a next month. It would be weird if there was a previous month after today, isn't it? Or, no, before today actually. Which is tomorrow. In your case. Or mine.
Or: yes. If there are enough entries, there will be a new month of submitting and voting.
Kind regards,
Inge |

Well...Thanks !
Indeed, all entries sound nice to my ears. I already have a favorite (not my entry), but overall seems we're gonna have a nice compo here

Novus: your site does not support linking to .rar extensions if one (like me) uses firebird. Please add, besides the image that gives the link, also the path to the song as a hyperlink, so people like me don't have to go through the fuzz of refinding internet explorer and using that browser.
Thank you
