Posted: Sun Mar 29 2015 13:45 Hi after a long time :) |
|
Yep I am still alive
Just wanted to say hi since a long time. I know I haven't been on here since a long time. Anyway I hope everyone is OK and well. I finally got some time to focus on doing some music. Playing piano if I have time. Though mostly free improvisation, playing by hearing but maybe a new song will evolve now and then. How is everyone?
Oh and do you remember me?
Best wishes

Hi everyone,
seems that everyone is pretty busy at the moment including me too. I wonder what everyone is doing at the momement. I am still busy with IT business (testing etc.). Playing some piano now and then which is also good for my hands after sitting hours behind the PC No Madtracker tracks done though. Maybe I should do some work if I find some free time Hope everyone is OK and life works well.
Best Regards

* upgrading the studio equipment (currently modifying mixing console by adding Noise gate circuits on inputs on my 3 mixing consoles (Behringer, Mackie, Alto) 48 channels total) ),
* done 3-way active studio monitors.
* some analog recording equipment done.
* ...and synths repaired.
...after the mixing console is finished then time for recording the music.
otherwise I have plenty of time for such crazy hobbys and no women allowed to steal that time. |

Greetings!
Yeah I come here every now and again to see if Madtracker 3 has finally been finished
Not a log of music is being written - there's been a good number of years since I last wrote a tune in madtracker (probably around 8 - 9 years...)
I did have a flurry recently with Ableton, uploaded to my soundcloud and thought I was back on track for making more - but then just checked and that was 3 years ago!
Like Beatmax, I have a piano and sit and improvise when I have time.
So many good memories of MT |

Still check back here once in a while too... that said I am still using Madtracker for MANY music projects. After all these years, MT2 is still my go to program for building tracks. I use the MPC for live stuff, but for production it's always MT... Here is something relatively recent made 100% in the program: https://soundcloud.com/spinscott/spinscott-no-control
Still waiting for version 3!
Cheers! |
