Hi Yannick and crew,
First off,I don`t want to sound picky here at all But! As you all know(or did not know) I am a bit of an old skool tracker ie from the days of protracker on the amiga. I have been asigned to do some music work for a game and was wanting to re use some of my amiga modules and make them "that bit better" then what the orignaly sounded like. Now, there is one thing I have noticed when loading a protracker mod into madtracker, you do not seem to get a full true stereo sound infact its in mono why is this?
I would love to see another "true mode" option added into mt2 module menu interface - you have two great modes there allready but when playing a protracker file it seem`s to be a bit false.
Meaning, I have to resample the mod using winamps mod plug in to get a true stereo sound from the original protracker module not threw madtracker it self which is a shame as I would dearly love to use it in that way. May be this could be another neet update feature for mt2? Or is this going to be added into mt3? I hope so, anyway keep up the good work yannick hope to see mt3 soon.

naah...
I wouldn't expect a new format to be implemented into MT2 anymore, would just cause a huge amount of bugs that affect all users, and I don't think that's something anyone wants at this stage when we finally have a product that's pretty much bug-free |

Indeed, that represents quite a few work.
MT2 doesn't work the same way as ProTracker internally. The frequencies in the slides are not the same, etc. And it does not support track panning.
But MT3 will be able to deal with such things.
