While I'm thinking about it, I was marvelling at the elaborate drums you had in The Cage. I must commend you on that! I was like, goddamn. I'm working on that remix constantly... should be sweet...

Sunbuster already once mentioned in the past that it would be nice if mt3 would use the same method as photoshop for undoing things, namely by a overview of your last actions wich can be enabled/disabled. I think that would be very usefull.

yeah, like the history feature in Photoshop, with possibilities to take "snapshots" of your current status that you can go back to at any point during the session. |

The problem is that tracking, unlike other music programs (like cubase and logic), is often based on step edit. It'll be very messy when every single change and addition will be saved in the undo history... But maybe if there's different type of undo lists ? Like one for the note edits, one for the parameter changes, one for copying and deleting patterns and blocks.. You know what I mean |

Not a bad idea there. I'm sure that it couldn't be too difficult to impliment, or could it?

that's how I recall it as well... I can't remember how many times I've slapped the hell out of Yannick on IRC after accidently deleting patterns and not been able to undo it...
I hope the undo-feature in MT3 will be similar to the one in Cubase SX, which I think is very good. I also hope that the Virus C will work flawlessly in MT3
in response to KSO: track-naming will be available already in MT2.3.0b... |

I moved the MT 2.3 talk to the General Discussion room.
Just stay with MT3 here, thanks.

I would like a command to change start and finish sample
loop positions as well as loop type. Also the greyed-out pitch envelope could be usefull. |

Better, but not too much junk, sample editor (and/or external program compatibility). All of the aforementioned Sample Editor suggestions. And:
loop & release
automatable loop points (that you could modulate the loop location over time)
beat slicer (looppoint finder; fruity loops has this)
ability to apply vst effect permanently to sample
realtime audio recording/sampling while sequencer is playing (my MT 2.2 goofs up here; maybe just a bug)
[definetly EQ & Comp. in Mixer Page]
