[edit: post moved to the appropriate room]
Hi all,
The FAQ of MadTracker has been revised, updated and expanded. Yannick has created a database for a more versatile maintenance of it, and multiple new topics have been added.
My question: you, as a forum regular, might be aware of common problems that aren't mentioned in the FAQ yet. Would you, dear beloved visitor, be as kind as to browse through the FAQ and make any suggestions or other feedback in this thread? Feedback can also be given by emailing it to info[@]madtracker.org.
Thank you (just love this smiley)

When I run MadTracker, my computer freezes after a couple of minutes (or immediately)! You must have a motherboard with the bugged 686b southbridge. Check The 686b bugfix (link) for more information about this bug and the solutions to solve the problem.

there's no link to the 686b bugfix |

Some controls do not work properly under Windows XP (or when you installed Office XP)!
This problem has been fixed since version 2.3.2 of MadTracker. Please upgrade (link to download section) to this version or higher.

I was supposed to replace that by working links indeed. Thanks for telling!

*Bump*
Final time bumping this one to see if there is any other feedback on it. If not, I will silently remove this one to the website room.
Thanks for the feedback so far. I myself am rather happy with this faq because of it's versatile character and easy search method.

One more thing. The "why does madtracker use so much CPU" section seems a bit outdated... Maybe it should be replaced with some minimum requirements, or recommend system specs or something.

I'm unaware of the computers being used to control MadTracker nowadays. At my old duron 800, MadTracker was having a rather hard time with 32 tracks songs with multiple effects. Furthermore, the faq article itself mentions both minimal as prefered system specs
Thanks for the feedback!

Indeed, when you see the CPU required by the most recent trackers to play XM files, this FAQ entry is rather obsolete.
