goldwave is a nice shareware sound editor.

Muted trumpet instrument[/url]; no idea about the quality. I might have a soundfont or sample of a muted trumpet if this won't do, but I can't get it for you for the next 12 hours. |

Hey, can you open .DLS files? It's DownLoadable Sounds (which belongs officially to DirectMusic Producer), but I have a very good Muted Trumpet DLS instrument bank, so if you can open it, I can try to send it over.
I know Modplug Tracker can read DLS files as a sample bank...
Greetings,
Big Mo. |

OK, I converted it. The instrument is located here. It is 208 kB, and contains 8 looped samples, from F#4 to D#6. I think they're tuned right, but I'm not sure about that.
If you need more, I have orchestral DLS multisamples of trumpets, trombones, saxophones, french horns, string section, pianos and a whole lot of guitars and basses. But I'm not able to share them alltogether, due to lack of webspace.
But if someone needs one of these instruments, ask me, I can try uploading them.
Greetz,
Big Mo. |

Also I found a muted trumpet soundfont on HammerSound (the only one that works):
http://www.thejazzpage.de/dl/mUtEd%20tRuMpEt.sfArk
You might check out that one too, but I think it's bad quality, not recorded as good as the one I uploaded. But just use the one you like best.

Big Mo. |
