Ok, i've read the faq, i've searched for answers, but i just can't get it working...
what's happening, if i'm entering a note it just doesn't appear in my pattern...yes the multi track is disabled...it used to work too! what happened?

If the multi track is enabled you need to declare which tracks you want to record in.
Press right mouse button on the track number so it gets red, or press right mouse button on one of the scopes so a little dot appears in its down right corner. Note that you can record activate as many tracks as you like. If so, it'll begin to set notes in the track you're "in" with the marker, and then jump to the neighbour to the right. |

Sometimes, for me at least, the focus seems to be on the instruments window for no apparent reason. Meaning, when I hit a key on my keyboard nothing happens in the pattern, but in the instrument window it might jump to another instrument depending on which key I hit. So check that you have the pattern window focused (by clicking in it with your mouse).
When all other things fail, one has to start looking at the fundamental things |
