Hi Inge, I have thought about something similar too! Would be nice. well actually I rated the plugins I like most with stars on my linksite, but a dynamic database would be very nice. Maybe a PHP-Site with MySQL. I also agree to mention the not working plugins so Yannick is informed too. The idea of mailing system crashed modules is nice too (thanks Yannick).

Just found another nice Trance-VSTI. Its called LALLAPALOOSA LITE ! Funny name and great sound. The gui looks nice too. There is a supersaw wave similar to the SUPERWAVE P8 vsti. I like this one it is very versatile has nice pads and also features a nice arpeggiator. The cpu consumption is quite low too. I`d say if you love trance this is a MUST download like the SUPERWAVE P8. In direct comparison I`d say that the leads of the SUPERWAVE P8 are cutting a bit more than the LALLAPALOOSA but the sound is really good.
Here is the download link to the LAPALOOSA LITE |

In case you are searching for a really phat bass plugin checkout this yellow baby. The basses are great and really go low you have so many altering possibilities. Its not a 303 clone its even better. It is really great for bass sounds and can generate synth and wind like sounds too! Those people at buzzroom are really good. Oh and it is free of course!

Beatmax! My goodness! They should give you a reward for your efforts in the quest for the holy Vst plugin
I'm currently quite busy with school, but I will discuss with Yannick asap a method for a central vst plugin database. I still am quite fond of a system in which MT-users can give feedback, and submit new ones.

Ok this time the list will get a little longer. I wont keep those links for myself. Checkout these very useful and nice sounding ones :
Buzzroom / BigCheese
(Tremolo+Filter) the easiest way to produce tremolos for chilling sounds. Like it says it sounds very cheesy!
NDC-Plugs / The Modulator
(Pitch,FM,ringmod) very versatile and well designed modulator includes the mad-shifta routine for pitching
TBT / TAPE STOP (nice one, simulate that typical shutting down sound of a turntable or tape)
And last but not least some useful editing tools:
Tobybear / Mad Shifta (sourcebag)
creates nice robotic sounds, very useful vor tuning sounds and loops (pitch changes at constant speed)
Tobybear / DC-Killer (utilbag)
Havent tried out that one yet, but I think it could be really useful during the mastering process.
...Ok now I need to add those one to the vst-list
Enjoy!

Here are some new plugins I`ve found which are worth to mention! Be sure to check them out.
TLS / Soundmaximizer
( Limiter )This one reminds me a lot in the Timeworks mastering compressor DX-plugin. Only this one is free and damn easy to use.
CAMELAUDIO / Cameleon5000
(Synth , morphing) This one is a real gem. It isnt freeware but the presets give you a good idea of its features. It looks strange and sounds strange! Probably the best pads I`ve ever heard. The sound eveloves in endless ways. A must checkout!
ExpertDigital / Delta Force
(EQ, Filter, Distortion) This one claims to be a good distortion tool for drum and bass. Well it definately is, but it is far more. It has some nice EQ-ing features too. The distortion can be added to different bands of frequencies. The sound is lovely!
OTIUMFX / Basslane
(Bass enhancer, stereo widener) This one is really interesting it is able to widen the stereo field at a special frequency. It can therefore narrow it too so you can turn off placed bass sounds back together (mono). Very helpful tool I`d say. And low cpu usage of course.
...Ok now I need to add those one again to the vst-list
Enjoy!

Thanks for the link! Its a very nice tool.
Here is another one of those experimental plugins:
KRAKLI / EZ_Poly
(Analog sequencer) This one is really neat! Listen to the plugin add some delay or reverb, close your eyes and enjoy. It is very chilling! |
