Ok, this song was mostly produced during this automn but I fixed some stuff just now and decided to release it. I would really appriciate some feedback on this one. Good, bad, worse, just shout it out Mr. Green The song is made in both Madtracker and Reason...

The song is well put together, sound levels are nice (or at least in my 20$ headphones they are). The song it's self flows pretty nice, not exactly my style, it does sound a little "The Weather Channel"'ish (I take that back, man now I know why they say dont do volumes in headphones and cause of that, I redo). I like the use of non-agressive rises and drops, the using of silence or fades to draw out an additional instrument. up untill the end its a wonderfull expiriance. The only thing I could see being better are the drums at the end. they do the job, but they could be more expressive, the cymbols especially but this is just during the outro with the 2 kind of off beat snares, that "ti-ta". But I really enjoyed listening to your song like 6 times, didnt get board once through all the listening. Great job and keep on a trackin'.

First of all: WOW, didn't expect such stuff from yours!

I think it's a very moody piece of art, with a great lot of atmosphere and deepness. Best listened to at nighty, lazy times Wink

Sound quality is true professional, period.

I know how hard it is to do drum patterns that sound like acoustic ones, and everyone with both drumming and "beatmaking" experience will sure agree. You did a great job at that. For one who isn't used to listening closely the illusion would be perfect.

(With this I don't mean that I have any drumming experience)

At first I was confused a bit about both the panning of the instruments and the effects, was very unusual to me. But then I noticed that you obviously made it sound like a live recording of a band (true?). It really sounds like that to me. The vinyl crackles only add to that and give it a even nicer, yet kind of spaced-out flavor.

In conclusion, I am really happy for you having developed your skills this far, besides I really like the song.

Give us more!

Good work my friend. I really like how great a separation of instruments that you accomplished. I don't know how you guys do that..all my stuff always sounds so cramped.

Also, where did you get that record static? I have been searching for a sample of that for a while and have come up empty-handed. I would just make my own sample, but unfortunatly I do not have a record player. Do you think you could compress it and email it to me?

I really like the drums too. They sound pretty natural and they fit the song rather well.

Later,
David

Actually it's all Saine's fault Mr. Green He was the one who showed me this new group of genres and styles which I wasn't aware of. I got amazed and tried to produce such music myself and later on I forced Myz to listen to so much of that music he also got addicted Very Happy
