Does anybody here know something about flash? I'm just starting, and i've already created some nice buttons (at least i think so), but now i want the buttons to work. I can link them to a URL, but that's not what I want, i want them to link to another frame. But I really can't get this autoscript to work. I'm guessing it should be basic functions, because almost every flash website i see has this. All I want is that when you click a button it goes to another frame, where this button is inactive (i guess i should simply replace it with another image then), and i want different content there. And this maybe with a tween, so that one page fades out or whatever, or rolls out of the screen or something. I've looked at a lot of tutorials, but i simply can't get it to work. Can anybody help? Pleeeeeeeeeaaase?

It's a long long time ago, but I thought you can use simple HTML commands within the action scripts, so you can just enter the frame data like you would do in a HTML site.
Maby lollie could give you more info, he's somekind of flash genius

you say you've gone through a lot of tutorials about this, but have you tried Flash's built in lessons & tutorials (found under the help menu)? If not, then I suggest going through those at least once, because they're really good. If they don't help, then I can try to whip up a short tutorial about button navigation.
One suggestion I'll give right away is to get the simple things working before worrying about cool tweening effects  |

Aaw, that's such a shame, I wanted to master Macromedia, but i'll check out swish then. Actually I already downloaded it, but then thought shit, now i'll have to start learning this crap, i just learned some macromedia stuff (in a day), and now i can start all over again.
But ok, i'll give it a try, I'll better be getting great shit back Lollie and Inge! |

Yes, that could have something to do with it Well, perhaps you'll be better of with Swish. Personally I don't see what's so difficult with Flash, but maybe that's because I've used Flash since version 3 |
