Trying to get vsts workin in my tunes now. They definetly sound alot crisper...now i need to work on equalizers and compressors and such...but hey i'm prolly about 70% done with this. I wrote it during the first snow storm of the season, and i think it has potential.
What does everyone else think? I think it falls under a sorta dance/trancy genre. I might add vocals? Any ideas?

haha pretty much just a crappy one that came with a game. But i've done vocals with it before, i'll just have to run the recordings through some sort of filters. |

you know,
you can easily spend $40 on a karaoke mic and get some decent quality out of that.
this way you can at least get a wider range of sound than you would from a game mic...
and save up 200 bucks (canadian, which btw is very close to american anyways now. 1.00 CDN = $0.83 US) and you can get a studio mic and a preamp.
its worth it. if not for vox, for SFX |

try exporting the bass and the rest of the song separately, then mix the two files... right now i think it sounds unneccesarily muddy in the lower freq region |
