What do you think about it?
http://www.prodikeys.com/
Its not pro thing, it uses standard PS2 port, but i've just read a good review of this keybord, its cheap and it seems to be good enough for midi newbie.
Could it work fine with MT2? |

My experience with cheap stuff like that is usually that it's totally crap!!! Better to spend some extra bucks and get a decent midi keyboard and not a toy-hybrid-mini-midikeyboard-keyboard like that. and even tho you claim to be a "midi-newbie" I think you should get something you can grow in.

I have this one. It was 200 euro's. There's a cheaper version, without the knobs and faders for 100 euro's. I bought this one because I hope MT3 will support will support automation recording. |

Actually, I have one of those too. Same model as yours, Walter Vos! I don't think a midi keyboard have to be so expensive, if it can do what it is supposed to do, which is playing notes. I orded a much cheaper midi keyboard, but I got this instead, because they didn't have what I had ordered in stock. I saved about 100 euros |

I have never used anything else than keybord, and was never good at piano etc. A keyboard takes less space than a midi-keyboard:) So I think I'll prefere a standard keybord!
(atleast I know where to find a c-4 on a normal keyboard) |

About those midi keyboards. I'm totally new to tracking and midi stuff so please forgive me if there's a selfexplanatory answer to this question.
Anyway, I have an electric Roland piano with midi out/in/thru. I know this one good, but I have no idea what so ever how it works with the computer and MT2?
I don't have the right cable but will buy one if you guys thinks it will work.
The output from the piano is one of those http://www.record-producer.com/i/midi-out.jpg and if my memory is right the input to the computer is a 15 pin connector which is found on the soundboard.
What drivers etc. will I have to install to get it to work the right way with MT2?
Thanks!

It looks that you will need a MIDI adaptater to plug in your soundcard joystick port (that 15-pin port).
Afterwards, simply plug the electric piano to the adapter with a MIDI cable. Nothing more should be required as the MIDI drivers should have been already installed with your soundcard.

Ok, sounds simple.
I guess it's something like this I need then?
