Yeah - it stops around page 9 - I kinda felt sorry for the guy (all though he did bring it on himself) with that massive negative attention.

Call me a troll, but I just don't find these "I'm not wrong, YOU'RE wrong, idiot" threads amusing even one bit.

Troll 2, then. They're also extremely tiresome. I'm perfectly fine with the fact that the majority of this world consists of morons who are also stubborn in their believe that their lack of knowledge should actually be interpreted as unrecognized intelligence and who urge themselves constantly to express these intelligent views towards mankind, but I'm not fond of being opposed to them or their views. It's so utterly useless to see a discussion in which both parties cannot be convinced of the points of the other, whether they are valid or not. 95% of this world isn't ready for debating, and should either stfu or find similar minds to see their opinions being acknowledged.

But the "funny" part of this one isn't the trolls, but that jp22 are so damn wrong; as everyone who know's ANYTHING about EQ and compressor would agree with. Anyhow he continues to declare everyone that tries to help him, and correct him; for fools.

I know that a, for example, political debate where two parts are saying the other one are idiot because he doesn't have the same point of view as the other one, are very tiresome though.

Although, I feel a bit sorry for him, because the thread has been raised to a very high level now, a very famous level. If he would have known that internet is also a very easy way to get one self known because stupidiness, he would've stopped this bullshit messages ago..

/Daniel

No he wouldn't have stopped, he would have rejoiced in the fact that he can display all these morons to the world and be crowned the intarweb champion of compression and EQ...

If I was JP22: I would have removed my avatar as fast as possible for sure:D

Off topic:
I have to say, I don't have too much knowlege about compression myself, but I know when to stop, when I'm wrong about something:D Any url for a good compression tutorial, and multiband compression? (that includes the theory about what it is and how it works?) Or better add it to MT tutorials?Very Happy

You'd think these people are grown up, but that argument followed the logics of a 5 year old. That's why it was interesting to read through (to page 9 at least). In the end, even though the ones that argued against JP22 were right with the technical stuff, they showed no more social intelligence than JP22, since they were just as childish with their replies as he was.

I'm sure someone could do a thesis project on that thread Mr. Green
