this is cool, like jack johnson crossed with a barbershop quartet. i particularly like it where there are loads of you singing at the same time. i cant even sing in one voice so thats a rare talent youve got.
only thing from a production point of view is its quiet, and a couple of times the percussion was a little off time.
definately very cool though.

yah. i tried to render this one relatively quiet. then i could just normalise. but as for the percussion off time, it was audition kept moving around my blocks combined with me not being on time . oh well. its for my girlfriend and she will like it probably. :edit: i'm usually quite the perfectionist so this is good... i think.
oh and thanks by the way. |

Your gf will love you for this, no doubt, but that's what they do for everything you do for them which is not related to getting beer or drunk.
The track itself is sorta okay. It gives me shivers due to its cheesyness, so that's all good if it's for the girlfriend |

i'm not sure if i should share this, but i just thought i sould mention this song made me sick to my stomach. i zapped after about 20 seconds. this probably has nothing to do with the music though. i hope your girlfriend WILL love you for this. my experience tells me otherwise.
i'm sorry dude. i'm probably offending you. once again, i hope you girlfriend loves you for doing this, you probably have a great one than. |

No no no. That's not the way women work. As I said: everything that indicates some effort from your side that was not (directly) self-centered is massively appreciated. Even if Elijah made an hour-lasting ambient recording of growing grass, called it 'how sound represents my love for you' and burn it to a disc, he would get exotic sex love & attention for a perpetual amount of time. |

The cheese reigns supreme! Really no suprises at all in this song, what you hear is what you get. I like happy cheesy tunes, but this was a bit sleepy / sleazy... Not a hit, but rather run of the mill of this genre. |

I don't know if the song was the meant to be funny, but it sounds hilarious
It is not bad neither professional. I don't think it was meant to sound professional, so it is good enough
Your girlfriend will like it |

tee hee, yah guys. i originally made this song with just the 'i love you hunna' when my girlfriend was sick to cheer her up; but then my hard drive got deleted. so i had to remake it. and i added everything else.
so essentially this one is just to smile at. no real reviews were really needed. but thanks to all for the feedback.
oh btw. the 'sick to stomach' comments are really what i was going for. he hee.
so basically. enjoy. hate. whatever...
thanks dudes. |

i like the style, and the beats are very nice. Singing is pretty good, the lyrics and tone are a little over the top. Sounds like a song ive stopped myself from making a couple of times. A little more stubtlty might be nice. As songs go(generally, for a long enjoyable lifespan) it might be nice to make one that is nice for your girlfriend, but could actully be played in a room full of other people, and they would all be wanting to puke (not cause the songs bad, but its on the same level listening to a couple babytalk to each other). So my final note is, i think you r doing good, and it will be good for her, but to take it to the next level, it needs to be reworked so others could relate to it, rather than run from it. |
