What do you mean by bass? An actual bass drum, or a bassline like a sine?
The relative volume of a bass drum can be increased by volume maximise it (such as the dx/vst plugin wave ultamaximizer), but it won't do the characteristics of the bass drum much good. It's better to change the relative volume of the track that holds the bass drum in comparison to the other tracks.
The relative volume of an actual bass line can be increased in two ways:
1: cut off the sample to the lowest frequenty that you would like to use (such as 300 hz for a dnb bassline) and trow your q all the way up.
2: use a bass enhancer (such as the wave max bass dx plugin) to generate additonal bass tones in the same note to get a richer and harder bass sample sound
Kind regards,

Let me put it this way: you'll need to be one determined professional musician to actually pay for the Wave plugin pack. That's all I'll say for now
They aren't hard to use if you are used to using audio programs in general. In the end, it's all knobs, faders and numbers. That's all

alright thanks for the tutorial.
But all i could find is the shortcuts for copy and pasting tracks and patterns.. (that helps)..
But i still cant find how to do it exactly..I mean it shouldnt be that hard? i dont understand what im doing wrong.
I start at the first track at the top left select and drag mouse until i have all tracks covered.. Copy, then paste in the appropriate pattern i want..It still doesnt work, what am i doing wrong. Ive had no problems doing anything on computers really as of yet...Atleast not anything this ridiculous lol!!!.. Thanks again for the help |

1: With ctrl-f4 / ctrl-f5 you can copy / paste a complete pattern at once.
Try control-f4 on the pattern you want to copy (without selecting anything), and control-f5 on the page where you want to paste it. Does that work?
2: With alt-f4 / alt-f5 you can copy / paste the selected block.
Use alt-f4 when you selected the area that you want to copy, and use alt-f5 on the pattern where you want to paste it. Does that work?

Hi! It`s me BeatMax I am the author of the tutorial. You can stop the sound using several methods:
1. Insert a key-off note (CAPS LOCK) will look like this "---". There you can be sure that the note is really stopped.
2. You may set the volume in the volume column to zero like this:
Note V E FX FX_2 (V=Volume)
C-4 1 80 -- -- ----
C-4 1 00 -- -- ---- <- set to Zero here
This way it will seem to have stopped using low volume.
I hope I could help you so far. If there are still problems, feel free to post them. Everyone will help you
Enjoy Tracking! ....

For some bass sounds I simply use a limiter (especially for real played basslines/notes), it will make the most important frequencies in the sample have the same volume. And if it lacks a special frequency (i.e. sub bass - 40-100 Hz), you can boost that with a parametric equalizer. |

Hmmm try this...
C-4 1 60 60 -0 -e51 | C-4 1 60 A0 -0 -e55
This is something of a phase trick but it will also
make the sound richer/louder in many cases, particularly
when using sine wave basses. |

Try using the Filter Track Effect. I've managed to boost up the bass quite much with that one.
Try this setup:
Type: Bi-Peak
Cutoff: Around 500-2500 hz
Resonance: 128 (depending on how much you want to boost)
Width: Around 2500-6500
I have an example of this, but I have no time of preparing it. Maybe later..

Another way to create a fatter sound is adding a flange:
Delay: Around 128
Period: Doesn´t matter
Amplitude: 0
Nice on basslines. |
