I've been smoking since I was 15 (that makes 10 years now)... I tried to quit once and stayed 5 months clean, but couldn't stand waking up every morning, wanting a cigarette and starting to stress. Surfing the net makes me smoke a lot, specially when waiting for a page to load, so I'll try to quit again when I have a faster connection.

Yes, I'm a dirty smoker too..

I'm smoking for 1 year now.. really enjoying every blow I take Razz

But compared to other people, I don't think that I smoke much.. maybe 3-4 cigarettes a day

So I only have to buy my cigs 1 time a week..

Here in Sweden we got something called snuff, you put it under your lip, and BANG! you get your nicotin without the risks of life-threatening cancer etc... (no proofed risks that will say)

Sweden one of the smallest amount of smokers, mostly thanks to this, but EU have banned us from selling it to other countries...

Hey Nareen do a google search on mouth cancer, that is if you have a strong stomach. Here in the states we have snuff too, though it is commonly known as chew. IMO it's just as bad as smoking, if not worse.

Just as bad? Try "fucking disgusting". Chewers are the grossest peices of slop I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Carrying around their cup of brown drool. Goddamn!

But isn't chew something that you're... chewing? Snuff you just put under your lip, and you can't barely see if somebody is snuffing.
If there were any documentated cancer risks of the swedish snuff, then they would have to put a warning text on the boxes. Now it's a text that says that it CAN be hazardous to your health!

Of course it's bad for your teeth, but so is candy. I've definitely cut down on smoking AND candy thanks to snuff.

BTW, does everybody outside Sweden puff the magic dragon??

Wish me well: six days without sigarettes now. Quite easy, actually. I even survived a barbecue and going out, both including quite some beers.

my take...

Being the conservative boring jackass as usual, I've never even tried a fag. Or a cigarette for that matter. In fact I despise it and hate every moment a smoker makes me a passive smoker. This (and too loud music) has kept me out of clubs since..... Forever.

However, here in Sweden, only yesterday they BANNED smoking in ALL PUBLIC INDOOR PLACES WHERE FOOD AND/OR DRINK IS SERVED. For me, it's happy times. For smokers, it's the beginning of a new era of *always* stepping outside to smoke.

Hooray! I rejoice.

Believe me if I say that I've never even tried a cigarette. I've tried cigars though, but you don't suck the smoke down in the lungs when smoking cigars. And this is only some times when there's a party or something. And no, I never buy those cigars myself Smile..

And for the heavier stuff, never tried either. I've never got any need for it; neither cigarettes or weed.

There´s an option missing:

"I want to start smoking"

My smoking colleagues are taking smoke-pauzes all the time and thats a nice thing, with the summer/good whether coming up.
