Thank you for that. I've always wanted to know where I live in the big perspective. Yes, that's exactly where I live!
To be more precise: I live very close to the river that flows above the town of Nieuw-Lekkerland. The river is called 'De Lek', which gave rise to the name of the town where I live (Nieuw-Lekkerland means 'new land on the Lek'). |

Funny, in the local dialect, "New land on the lek" would be "Nei-Lekkerland". Quite close, isn't it ? |

I was pretty close to there back in 2003, in Kinderdijk and Alblasserdam. I have family living in Sliedrecht...or was it Papendrecht? In between the two anyway. Looking forward to going back one day.  |

Pwnage! My goodness! That is *so* close! I've done my secondary college in Papendrecht, and my first real girlfriend was from Sliedrecht (cute, eh?). Kinderdijk is part of Nieuw-Lekkerland, so you nearly touched upon the house where I live  |
