As a few people already know, I aint a big fan of bold statements like that 
I started tracking on the Amiga back in 87, so I think my opinion here is a valid one.
OK, lets see.. "Amiga Rules".. what does it rule exactly?? seeing as this is the madtracker forum.. lets concentrate on audio.
AMIGA RULES IN:
1. Audio software? - no
2. VST -no
3. DX plugins -no
4. Realtime editiing -no (not with some hefty upgrades
anyway)
5. Multitrack - no
6. Midi applications - no
7. trying to be the little engine that could - yes
how can you honestly and whole heartidly say that the amiga rules.. ok.. it *DID* rule a long time ago. I'll hand it to the Amiga until about 1993/94.. after that the PC wins, hands down.
The idea of the Amiga and its legacy and how it created the whole scene RULES, but the computer itself doesnt. not anymore.
I read your post, and then said, "does it"? and had to check the whole internet on Whatrules.com just to make sure the amiga didnt start ruling again, overnight.
I wish i lived in your world , where I can can say something ruled, out of the blue.. and it just made it so.
