Not really tonight, but it has been a while until I could run the program again. This time I got the message while trying to close Madtracker. First I got an 'aborted your request message' and later on after a few minutes I got the message 'Violation at adress 0157C8E0, lecture adress 0157C8E0'.
Still I can't move with my keyboard in the track window, so I can't create music with 2.5 RC3. I can move with my mouse though, unfortunately that doesn't help a lot. |

Remove the MT2.db file in the MadTracker directory. And try to select a proper "Modules" path in the configuration if not set.

Thanks.. Tried it several times, but finally it worked. Had to save a file first and remove the .db afterwards. It works! Thanks a lot! |

Oh, I remember that bug.
You've gotta un-maximize MT, then move it out of the way, until you can see the comments box, which is hiding behind MT. Then just close the comments box. |

Bugs, I discovered in 2.5RC3:
- At start up, a drum pattern window appears, even though drum patterns are disabled on startup default. You can see this only if "main window" is unchecked in the "Pattern" menu.
I think, it would be more logical if all windows reapper exactly at their same positions they were at the time MadTracker was closed, unless they were closed before that, in which case they shouldn't appear at all.
- Non-english text: The keys above CTRL should be called SHIFT in the menus.
- I also discovered the close bug, which seems to appear only the first time I exit MadTracker after rebooting my system. Then I kill it in the taskmanager (CTRL-ALT-DEL) and if I start Madtracker again, it usually can be closed properly then. |

Maybe this is said before, I haven't read al the pages.
When I'm closing MT2,
the program is still on my taskbar and i can't fully close it in the normal way.
so I use control+alt+delete to fully remove it from my taskbar
thats the only bug I've encountered. |
