2 madtrackers installed

Simple question:
Can I have two different versions of madtracker installed on my computer?
eg MT2.35 and MTrc2.5
I want to install the VST version on my comp but I dont want it to affect my previous version of madtracker. So I was just gonna install it into another directory on my hard drive but I don't know whether it'll affect the other madtracker system files (if it has any).

It won't affect the other install files - only the registry. But there shouldn't be any problem. (Maybe minor annoyances.)

Unfortunately that is not possible. Either the normal or the vsti version. But not at the same time.

Why would you try and install two versions at once ?

I was only chewing the fat, playing Devils advocate.

I guess (like Enigmatic) you run out of channels and need more.. If you could synch the two together, you would have double the channels.

I'm sure someone mentioned this a few years ago.
