Elektronic yearlist 2004

For my humble little radioprogramme, I compiled a list of the 12 best elektronic releases of 2004.

I would like to know yours too! This way we can get in contact with great new styles of (elektronic) music, which is always opening views and perspectives.

Here are my twelve little gems in no specific order:

Black Strobe - Italian Fireflies (Kitsuné records)
Orbital - You Lot (Orbital music)
Mysterymen - Elektromode (Disko B)
Linked - Detox (unreleased - check the MP3)
Freq Nasty - Brooklyn To Brixton (Skint)
Cursor Miner - The Sport Of Kings (Lo recordings)
Unyx - They Don't Wear Sweaters (unreleased - check the MP3)
Joey Beltram - Rising Sun (Tresor)
High Contrast - The Persistence Of Time (Hospital)
Fresh - Submarines (Pendulum remix) (Breakbeat Kaos)
John B - Broken Language (Beta recordings)
Amit - Gatecrasher (Metalheadz)

[Wanna hear all these songs? Check the radio broadcast of this yearlist (and try to neglect my dutch presentation Smile]

Let me know yours!

Inge

hmm, might become hard, since I've mostly bought pre-2004 stuff this year and haven't surfed the net that much for unreleased stuff... here are some:

Brahma feat. Jillian Kiggins - peaks of destiny EP [toes in the sand]
Michael Lanning - Bound for ascension [toes in the sand]
Brahma - Even flow [toes in the sand]
Shapeshifters - Lola's theme [positiva]
16 Bit lolitas - Take my life [deep]
Duran & Aytek - Future Hope E.P. [deep]
Lostep - Burma [GU music]
Max Graham - Coastline [shinemusic]

Studio X2 [Good Looking Records](compilation)
Pink Panther's Penthouse Party [virgin](compilation)
Electro jazz divas [wagram](compilation)

bonus: guess what my favourite label is these days Smile

well, for what it's worth I finally could make up my mind and decide a nr.1 of 2004's best cd releases. Nicolas Repac - Swing. It doesn't get much better than that....
