whole sample played when inserting note? |

Hello, Im new to Mad Tracker and I am having trouble with a certain feature of Mad Tracker. I come from a Impulse Tracker background, and when giving Mad Tracker a try there is one feature that I can't seem to figure out, and that is how do you setup Mad Tracker to play the WHOLE sample when you hit a key to insert a note in the sample editor, even after you let go of the key like in Impulse Tracker? I don't really like the fact that I have to hold down the key to hear the whole sample, I would like to be able to hit it once quickly and let go and still hear the whole sample when I am inserting a note? Please help, thank you. |

its not possible
but
you can insert note into the track and watch the sample in sample editor when pattern is playing |

Actually, what you're asking is possible.
Just hit the Sample Editor button, hold down the note key (Any one, except for N and P), click on the Loop drop-down menu, and release the note.
Then you can go around and edit as normal.
Ignore that "Forward" in the image. I just loaded in a looped sample. O_o |
