Posted: Sun May 15 2005 13:50 Delayed Key-off |
|
DonŽt know if this is a commonly known trick, so iŽll post it anyway.
If you want to cuttoff a note with a Žkey-offŽ-marker (capslock), sometimes placing the marker on one line cuts the note too early and placing it on the next line cuts it of too late.
By using the key-off-marker in combination with the delay-note-effect (EDx), you can place this key-off marker on a more precise position.
This feature especially comes in handy, when working with shuffled beats.
Example:
C-4 1 .. .. .. ....
... .. .. .. ....
=== .. .. .. ....
C-4 1 .. .. .. .ED3
... .. .. .. ....
=== .. .. .. .ED3
... .. .. .. ....
Etc... |
