 |
I just wanted to tell you that I am in the last steps of my Diploma. I`ve written the documentation and only a few corrections need to be done. The website of my departement is online now too. I am really happy that everything worked out so pretty well. Big thanks to my friends and my family. My colloquium will be on August 30th.
Yours

Hello Manuel,
Well done! (and it's about f*cking time, uh? ). What exactly will you get your master's degree on?
I still have to finish my last year of my master, and then I'll be done too (after 8 (!) years of doing two bachelors and one master!).

Actually its not a masters degree. I could continue with a master. Its a classic diplom engineer. My degree will be diplom engineer for telecommunications university of applied sciences or in german: Diplomigeneur für Kommunikationstechnik FH, or short Dipl.-Ing.
Tho I have no motivation to continue with the Master since these studies have been a hard job and I am really really glad that I have nearly finished / survived it. A this university it is a survival. Compared with other high quality technical universities you`ll never see it anywhere but the professors here think that they are at a top #1 university and so is their stuff.

w00t! I just graduated from my audio engineer studies at the SAE Institute! Still gonna redo some assignments though, if I can get a score higher then 80% (i'm at 72% now), I can go for my bachelor (I probably won't, but it's nice to have that option). |
what is hip?

So what kind of audio engineer are you now?

Did I miss something at my school? Different kinds of audio engineers? Anyway, I'm an audio engineer with a 72% average, and a very bad recording assignment (so i'm going to do that again, see if I can get my grade up a bit). Basically I'm an audio engineer who's very good at his theory, and not so good when he's actually engineering |

Hi Walter!
Its the same problem here. You are able to calculate everything theoretically but at least in practice its all different.
