House Of Cards

I've built my world on dreams
I've built it on illusions
beliving like a fool
that all happens by itself

tears are flowing down
when the light is waning
everything seems to end
and nothing begins

Oh no here I go again Razz

I can hear the bass guitar this time around, however, it took a couple of times listening to this song to extract it from the mix. When the solo comes in their's a slight distortion throughout the entire mix that's very distracting.

The mix could use some polishing here and there to smoothe at some of the dynamic shifts and whatnot, but then again, perhaps, that's how you hear it in your head. I know that once I can start producing some worthwhile tracks( hopefully within the next few months) you'll probably have a lot to criticize me on. But hey who needs ego anyways?

Other then that fantasmorgasmicaf'ngphenomenal Very Happy Lovely word isn't it?

I must confess I look up to you XnmE. The things that you do with a MT is just insane, namely with the percussion side of it. I've had a friend listen to some of your songs and as much as he hates trackers (with the utmost passion I might add), but he likes what he hears. Keep it up and he won't be able to tell the difference Wink

Now bass is tracked. I get it louder. But its not such clear as it should be. If i give more treble on it, bass part sounds unnatural.

Are you using the same trick you used for bass guitar on against the wind?

No. In "Against..." bass was played using guitar and downtuned via plugin. In this song bass is tracked.
