Is that vocal sample from this strategy/fantasy game you are playing 24/7?
The beginning of the track is wah-wah. Not bad, but not face-exploding either. The end, on the other hand, is where the good stuff starts. The problem is probably the lack of consistency and a clear, transparant main theme. The end does show such a thing (I love the single shot sample with the sweeping pads layered over it). Continue as you were, but do so at the end of the track.
And, ofcourse, I still love you with whole my heart, sugarlump. |

I like the beginnig, and I really like the way you tweak the sounds. For me it doesnt work so well as a standalone "song" but maybe it isnt intended to either. Defintely got the gaming feeling.

thanks ya'll. the sample is indeed from anarchy online, hotpants. being just a draft of my idea, the track is not anywhere near completion (it's only four days old), I'll keep you updated. |
