I really enjoyed those adventures. I loved all Lucas art adventures, including Loom which was like a musical adventure. Great ideas. Unfortunately the later versions like Version 3 never ran on my WinXP system. Pity I really love those funny tricky adventures.

Use gopher repellant on gopher.
Use gopher repellant on other gopher.
Use gopher repellant on hoarde of gophers.
Or something like that. I loved the series... and the music was always top notch -- nice reggae-calypso style.
I had heard the script was originally written out as a set of 5 stories... I do hope they manage to finish it! |

Have you tried the ScummVM engine?
http://www.scummvm.org/
I'm pretty sure it'll make your Loom game to work in WinXP!

Yep, I just watched it the other day Considering they basically made it all on their sparetime and didn't have a hollywood budget to take to, it's pretty damn impressive |
