It seems to be not possible to load mt 2.3 song into mt 2.2 (invalid module) or Winamp with plugin. I removed track names from it , but it doesn't work also. Previous version (made in mt2.2) works fine with mt 2.3, 2.2 and winamp.

You could try to keep the number of channels below 32, maybe that works. I haven't tried it, I'm always playing MT2 modules in MadTracker 2.3

I've noticed that Winamp doesn't exactly support 2.3 version mods either. It'll read it, but it gives a 0:00 length and continues to the next song. MT2.2 read a couple of the MT2.3 songs, but there were a couple of conversion errors

MT < 2.3 should warn it is a more recent module. And the winamp plugin still has to be updated to 2.3. I'll check that "invalid module" message though. Any chance you send me a module that produces such message in MT 2.2? Yannick
